Before Steve Hart started hismedia career as a radio host with the Austereo network, he was entertaining thousands in clubs and on cruise ships.

The Fox Sports presenter said he wasfirst bitten by the “entertainment bug” at a very young age.

“It goes back to the teenage years of playing in garage bands,” Hart said.

“I would have been about 15 when I started playing in a band. I always appreciated music and making it.”

Between 2000 to 2005 Hart established a name for himself in the sports world as asports reporter and presenter on Sports Tonight, yetstill possessed the urge to strum his guitar strings.

“One night I had a dream that I was performing again and it was not going well at all,” he said.

“From that momentitreally re-lit the entertainment bug inside of me and gave me the push I needed to get back out there and perform again.

“Of course in the real world it was completely different. When we did our shows we were with great crowds and received great reactions.”

He said the birth of Steve Hart and The All Stars was an attempt to “relive the glory days of Australian pub rock”.

“There’s a few reasons why I wanted to bring this performing team to the stage.

“One was because I wanted to get out there again and perform and the other is because there’s a definiteaudience for the type of music we play, a generation aged between their late 30s to 40s who are just longing to have that live rock experience again.

“There’s nothing really quite like the experience ofsharing the stage with a really good rock band and a great crowd.”

Steve Hart and The All Stars members include Paul Christie from Mondo Rock and The Party Boys, Peter Northcote from Dragon and Diesel, Joel McDonald who played with members of Thin Lizzy andACDC, Johnnie Waller from The Party Boys and Rohan Cannon from The Choirboys.

“Everyone leaves wanting more with the best fist pumping songs from The Angels, ACDC and many more,” Hart said.
